A story was recently shared from Asia about an NK man named K who came to know Christ is a most unique way. Not only did he come to know Jesus, he desired to be baptized. Through a connection only God could orchestrate, he was led to desire baptism and performed it for himself in an isolated spot well away from possible spying eyes. His heart was so touched that he shared the Good News of Christ with friends and family, despite the potential danger where he lives. Not only that, he was even able to get Bibles to those friends and family members, an action which could easily implicate him and all of them in crime against the state, punishable by death. Even now, he is trying to come up with ways to go to another nearby area to share Christ with people there.
WAYS TO PRAY FOR K
- Pray for K’s newly birthed faith, that he will continue to grow in God’s truth and godliness, as he feeds on God’s Word.
- Pray for the avenues that get the Good News in recordings and print to K and others like him to be divinely protected and kept open so that more can hear and respond to Christ’s grace.
- Ask the Lord of the harvest for favor as K passionately shares with others, that he may continue to seek opportunities and retain his freedom to move about and interact as long as possible.
- Pray for discerning wisdom as K seeks those to share with, that he may have spiritual sight to see those whose hearts are prepared and hungry.
- Give thanks for those who have done their best behind the scenes to prepare recordings and publications designed for NKs, and for those who have taken risks to see these delivered.
